World Naginata Championships
The World Naginata Championships (WNC) are held every four years and are hosted by different affliated member federations. The next WNC will be held on the 4th-10th July 2019 in Wiesbaden, Germany and are hosted by the German Naginata Federation (Deutscher Naginata Bund).
The competition events include Shiai (individual and team fights), Engi (pairs of competitors performing set techniques) and Rythm Naginata (naginata techniques and moves set to music).
